The first two sessions of the free Ukulele workshop were held on November 21st and 28th at the Philippine Canadian Centre of Manitoba.
Funded by the Healthy Together Now (HTN) program of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the no-cost sessions are geared toward beginners.
“It is a fun hobby to learn!” gushed prominent community figure Tita Aida who is among the initial batch of learners. Serving as class instructor is Ernesto Ofiaza, Jr., president of FMAACI.
Upcoming classes in December are scheduled for the 5th, 12th and 19th.
